UAE requires ECAS certification for tobacco-free nicotine pouches
The UAE's Ministry of Industry and Advanced Technology (MoIAT) requires all tobacco-free nicotine pouches sold in the UAE to hold Emirates Conformity Assessment Scheme (ECAS) certification, administered by ESMA, under Cabinet Resolution No. 2 of 2025 (Official Gazette, 30 January 2025).
