Exporting dry body-cleaning products to Egypt: ES 9325 mandatory after six months
Egypt has notified the WTO that Ministerial Decrees No. 210/2026 and No. 229/2026, adopted on 21 September 2026, give producers and importers a six-month transitional period to comply with Egyptian Standard ES 9325, 'Disposable products for dry cleaning of the body and disposable towels'.
- Affected products
- Single-use dry body-cleaning products for personal use (used without water or with little water) and disposable drying products
- Required action
- Producers and importers get six months to meet ES 9325; the decrees take effect after gazette publication (date unconfirmed), so no compliance deadline can be given yet.
