Children's toys — Saudi Arabia
Toys designed for play by children under 14 fall under the GCC Technical Regulation on Children Toys (BD-131704-01), which SASO applies in Saudi Arabia. A toy must meet the regulation's essential safety requirements — physical and mechanical, flammability, chemical, electrical, hygiene and radioactivity. Toys that conform to the harmonized standards listed by GSO are presumed to comply. Instructions, safety information and warnings must be in Arabic.
