About MutabiqAlerts
Regulatory alerts built
for GCC & MENA
MutabiqAlerts takes its name from the Arabic word for "conformant." It is an independent
regulatory intelligence service, not affiliated with GSO, SASO, any government body or any testing, inspection or certification company,
built specifically for importers, compliance teams, and trade operators active in the
Arab world. MutabiqAlerts monitors official government sources across all 22 Arab League
markets — the six GCC states, Egypt and the Levant, the Maghreb, and the Red Sea and Horn
of Africa — and delivers verified updates in English, Arabic, French and Chinese.
Who's behind MutabiqAlerts
MutabiqAlerts is run by a regulatory research analyst who spent four years in the regulatory
research team of a major international testing, inspection and certification company,
researching technical regulations, circulars and standards for toys, textiles, footwear,
food-contact materials and cosmetics, mainly from SASO, GSO and IMANOR, and translating them
into English where no English version existed.
The same work is now done independently here. MutabiqAlerts is not affiliated with any
government body or any testing, inspection or certification company, including the
analyst's former employer. Every update and every report is researched and reviewed by the
analyst personally.

How we work
1
Discovery via notified body bulletins
We track notified body bulletins, certification body regulatory alerts, and trade compliance newsletters as early signals — using them as leads only, never as final sources.
2
Confirmation at primary government sources
Every item is traced back to the official regulator — SASO, SFDA, GSO, MoIAT, MOCI, Hazm, PAI, MOIC, EOS, JSMO, IMANOR, INNORPI, LIBNOR, COSQC or IANOR — before it is written up. Every update is labelled: "Official source" when we have the regulator's own publication, or "Reported — official text pending" when it is not yet available online, in which case we name the source we relied on (for example a notified-body bulletin or the WTO notification), and we re-check it until the regulator's own publication is found.
3
Editorial summary in four languages
Updates are written in plain language in English, Arabic, French and Chinese — focused on what changed and what it means for importers, not regulatory jargon.
4
Filtered by sector
Filter the updates to the sectors and markets you import into. No noise from sectors that don't affect you. Free with an account during the open beta.

If you spot an error, email us with the item title and the source you are relying on. We re-check it against the regulator's publication, mark the item "Accuracy under review" while we do, and record any change in the item's verification history.
